Another successful and FUN week here in Kindergarten! This week, the students got to check out library books for the first time. They enjoyed their time with Mrs. Moyer and finally being able to check out their own library books. Speaking of books, these kindergarten students are learning some reading components such as retelling, problem, solution, and opinion. We read "Alexander and the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day" this week, and the kindergarteners did AMAZING with all our new components!
I am so proud of how much they have grown in these first 3 weeks of school. They are making new friends, and growing stronger bonds with old friends. I can't wait to see them grow even more this year! I hope they are loving Kindergarten as much as I am loving teaching it! Happy FRIDAY and enjoy the weekend!
